Earlier this year Charlotte, North Carolina native BIGBABYGUCCI dropped his eleventh studio album, Iridesense, and has now released the visual for standout track, “Take Time.” The visual directed by Reel Bump shows BBG in a series of engaging performance scenes along with various eye-catching effects, overall a perfect representation of the attention grabbing and energetic track. One thing about BBG is that he is truly in a lane of his own and I don’t get the same energy from many artists coming out right now, and this track is no exception with BBG putting his melodic tone and contagious melodies on display throughout the whole track.
Even dropping multiple projects a year, BBG remains one of the most consistent artists in hip hop and definitely a top name coming out of the South. This consistent and frequent output from BBG is really what sets him apart, in a time where listeners are onto the next new things after only a few weeks, BBG has been able to keep his name in the mix for all these years now dropping impressive project after project and seeming to polish his sound with every release.
