There are times few and far between where an unknown voice is as talented as those up in the majors. Alex Banin is a rare artist who will blow you away the minute she opens her mouth. In these visuals for “Hawthorne” we see Banin in deep thought pondering her quarrels within her life. The shots by Lake Michigan with the skyline in the background move the viewer and calm them at the same time. With direction, shots and editing all handled by Michael Delro, this video is cinematic bliss.

Past the visual aspect, Alex can really fucking sing. He voice is sophisticated and she knows how to control it and draw it back when needed. Very impressed with her songwriting as well, which can drive the points home in a room full of redundancy. Shout to Alex this is some great work, tap in below.
