Colby Lafayette manages to merge sonics in a way very few can. “I’M A FAN” is an example of how to create unique soundscapes and an enjoyable track tastefully! We get a mixture of a laid-back delivery and some shrill vocal runs through the track. This keeps the record exciting, and I was on the edge of my seat the whole listen!
The song is great on its own! However, the video brings a new element to the release. We get to see Colby and his love interest be free-spirited and, at times, manic. The grit that is captured in the video makes for the perfect imagery for the single! I’m super impressed by this, and this guy has a long future ahead of him!
