Smooky Margielaa is a 15-year-old rapper from the Bronx, NY and is A$AP Rocky’s newest protegé, need I say more? The young artist has caught just about everyone’s attention this year with his raspy voice, and melodic sounds, landing five features on A$AP Mob’s Cozy Tapes: Vol. 2 and he release a whole slew of incredible tracks of his own. Don’t let his age fool you, this kid really knows what he’s doing. You’ll see what I mean in 2018. – Kyle
The reason I think Smooky is going to blow up 2018 is because of the overwhelming amount of support he’s received from numerous huge artists. From featuring on more than 3 tracks on ASAP’s album to the amount of other magazines covering him. He’s garnered his own fan base and continues to grow and work with even more artists that are gonna propel him to even a more successful 2018. Also his exclusivity with the songs that he drops gets the fans anticipating more and more with every drop that he does. I see him becoming way more successful next year and having features on his debut tape with even bigger artists that he hasn’t worked with this year. – Rody

Smooky Margeilaa, a 15-year-old rapper from the Bronx, undeniably has “it.” The general public was first introduced to the young rapper on Cozy Tapes 2, after the announcement he would become the newest member of ASAP’s collective AWGE. For me, I think the moment I realized Smooky is going to blow up was after hearing a snippet of his buzzing single, “Stay 100” on a friends Instagram. I dare you to try listening to that song just once, seriously go try it… It’s impossible. – Evan
