Blocboy JB‘s music is simply addictive. The rising street rapper from Memphis millions of views under his belt on Youtube, and for good reason—he’s one of the most consistent and talented artists that Memphis has had in recent memory. His breakout single “Shoot” is a prime example of his skills—gritty, hard-hitting verses littered with clever rhymes, and hooks that’ll be booming through your head all day. Aside from his music, Blocboy can cut a gotdamn rug too; his infamous dance made famous by the music video for “Shoot” has been adapted by a healthy handful of athletes across all ranks, and has most recently invaded NFL locker rooms and touchdown celebrations.
