With the powerful duo Divine ScienZe and Raheem DeVaughn leading us into the abyss, we are calmed by their steady percussion and cadences. DeVaughn‘s voice already possesses excellent talent and has earned him prowess around the globe, but this is a stellar melding of talents from top to bottom.
Scienze and King I Divine are two NYC-bred creatives who bridged the gap from Brooklyn to Queens. Their subtle instrumentation Divine gifts us is a minimalist canvas but holds endless opportunities. When the chorus comes in, it’s as if the beat builds to the point where all of the accompaniment follows.
The verses are meant to have the focus be shifted to the wordplay, and all you hear is the drums and thoughts of Scienze.
