A year ago, 19-year-old Dro Kenji was sitting in his high school classes daydreaming about his life as a rockstar. Today Dro Kenji releases his 3rd project under Internet Money/10K Projects, EAT YOUR HEART OUT.
Raised in Summerville, South Carolina, Kenji didn’t have much to do other than play videos, listen to music, and figure out what he wanted to do with his life. The exposure to his parents’ taste in ‘90s-era Hip-Hop and R&B mixed with his love for games like Rock Band, allowed Kenji to add elements from these different styles into his music. We hear these different influences in tracks like, “4LIFE”, “Kill Cupid” and “Goodbyes”.
