Glaive has been the main proponent of this new scene of distressed punk-pop with a dash of hip-hop-influenced music. As we see this younger generation gravitating to this amalgamation of music from the past decades, Glaive seems to be the true champion of his movement. With the release of the “I wanna slam my head against the wall”, we get one of his more chill tracks. This is easily one of my favorite tracks by Glaive. We get a love-torn record where he’s picking up on red flags that were prominent in his prior relationship.
The music video takes place in a rustic house in the woods. Where we get some cinematic shots of Glaive on the balcony, on the porch, and a dinner table. Having outdoor shots in the woods sprinkled in to give the video a variety of backdrops. The visuals are aesthetically appealing and this continues the run of gorgeous videos Glaive has been dropping as of late. Make sure you tap in below!
