I was stuck with a stomach bug over the last few days and we have finally made it back to solid health. And it’s funny when you get over an illness, you have such a bigger appreciation for health and those days you don’t spend spewing chunks. It’s a wonderous feeling and now that I’m back at the helm of the ship, we have the chance to get back to what matters. The music. The sounds that will save us from our impending doom, or at least deter them for the present moment. Regardless I will end my babbling with this. Within just 48 hours, the teaser amassed an astounding 1 million views, propelling ALINA to stardom and attracting an additional 15k followers to her Instagram profile. And numbers aside it showcases that this young woman is able to pen music that brings this much attention, she has to be onto something. “17” radiates the feeling of growing pains that anyone feels when they’re moving on to adulthood. But it’s such a difficult time to navigate from being a child, but this is where the vulnerability of her truth attracts the listener.
