What’s good world. Here we are yet again in a realm of antiquated false anger and hypocrisy. Not all of it is false, and most of it is very valid, but some of it is just misdirected frustration. I hate playing this devil’s advocate role, but holy fucking shit are you guys full of it. Should mrdababy have said those things, of course not? It was hurtful and wrong, but then y’all are mad at an innocent labelmate for dropping a PLANNED video that cost more than your rent for two years.
Point is, the outrage always subsides and people go back to doing what they were doing. There are people who think Robert Kelly was set up, MJ was innocent, Billy C didn’t spike drinks and Kodak didn’t touch that woman. Now it’s all of our personal decision to digest what we please, but remind yourself that this holier than thou shit isn’t for like and RT’s. We all have personal truths that have been formulated over our lifetimes, dictated by our trials and tribulations. Oh yeah and plot twist, these celebrities aren’t role models who should be listened to about issues other than their music. And another thing, Coi is having a great moment and has a lot of fans, but she’s not Carti and it’s not even close. Let Coi be Coi and JORDANNNNNN CARTTTTTTERRRR BE JORDANNNN CARTERRRRR. Tory is an idiot and we’ve never fucked with him like that. Shout to the Gays. Shout to Simone, take all the time you need. Suck my dick, Charlie Kirk. Now, to the music.
Solosam – Motorbike Freestyle
Solosam is one of Chicago’s most brilliant, yet overlooked. His love for the culinary arts essentially explains why his attention to detail is so poignant. In his newest effort “Motorbike Freestyle”, we hear a side of Sam that we haven’t witnessed before. It’s more boastful and floats in his pocket amidst the noise. This is a great cut to ride through the city with, perhaps a lakefront road of some sort. The mood is freeing and untouched by the corporate guise, so Sam is truly making what he wants to. Until the next set of waves, peep this one above.
Pink Siifu FT. Turich Benjy – Bussin
Pink Siifu and Turich Benjy link up for these emphatic visuals entitled “Bussin” and you won’t be disappointed in the slightest. Two Cincy representatives making music that they want to as opposed to getting washed away in trends. With Gumbo on the way, this is a great momentum builder to entice his fans with an early treat. Siifu floats in a more precise setting with his cadence, while Turich follows with glitz and calculated methodology. With direction and edits from Dylan McGale, these frames turned out to be something truly special, so tap in above.
TiaCorine FT. D*Ba*y – Lotto
Tia is who were here to write about. She has delivered one of the best albums of the year and connected with the Overcast bros to direct her new visuals for “Lotto”. The creativity is brimming from the seams, but that’s because of Corine‘s willingness to deliver the art. She will continue to shine in any conversation because of her sheer talent. All of this additional background noise will pass and TiaCorine will soon be a household name. Trust me mates, I know what I’m talking about, so tap the fuck in above.
Bouvé – Boats
This bad boy is an old fashion slapperooni. First, I’m the best music journalist in the world because not only is my taste top-tier, but I can cuss all I want in my articles. But anywhoosles, Bouvé has a smash on his hands with “Boats” and guess what the video is nothing but nautical fun. With a cig fired up and a leading lady aboard, we hear this young man deliver his near-flawless sermon. The melodic approach he gifts us will run through your head for a good portion of your Summer. I’m sure this will build a bit of momentum for Bouvé, so until the next, enjoy the waves.
E The Profit – Black Sweets
Last, but never least is E The Profit. “Black Sweets” is a smash soon to be known by the greater population and now it has a visual treatment to match. With direction from Jordan Phillips and Ethan Dickens, these shots tantalize and almost confuse our eyes. Whatever witchcraft the duo did to make those transitions is nuts, but it keeps us glued to our screen until the end of the frames. E has a real chance to put his region back in the spotlight. We all know Harlow and Gee run KY right now, but there’s another name to join them soon enough. He goes by E The Profit, so get familiar before you’re left behind.
