First of all, wow. This track made me smile. Jireh‘s slick, laid-back bars mixed with sectiontoo‘s beautiful vocals on the track make for an incredible listen. The way this one is set up is great. The lo-fi rapping at the beginning and end of the song with the back and forth of incredible vocals and rapping in the middle from sectiontoo makes it feel like you’re listening to straight butter.
Jireh is a part of the new school of rappers who push the boundaries of music. His sound is consistent, and exciting while also being calm and collected. Don’t be surprised if you hear his name quite a bit more in the future.
