Upcoming Chicago based crew, Kids These Days, gave Rolling Stone the exclusive premier of their new album the other day but unfortunately I haven’t had the time to check it out until now. All I got is say is wow…this project is amazing. The Windy City group consists of rapper Vic Mensa, vocalist Macie Stewart, bassist Lance Beckstrom, drummer Greg Landfair, trumpet player Nico Segal and trombone player J.P. Floyd. The blend of genres these kids bring to the table with their music is truly amazing. There’s no word I can think of to describe this album that wouldn’t box itself creatively.
