Massachusetts Finest Vol. 2

We are back again! Since the last article I highlighted, the Bay State’s freshest musicians did so well, why not run it back. As mentioned before, many dope artists are coming out of Massachusetts, and the scene needs to gain more exposure. So, I hope you find your new favorite musician here!

Bia

Bia has been killing it with these larger-than-life singles! Being featured on Russ’s smash “Best on Earth” and her record “Whole Lotta Money” going crazy viral on TikTok makes her one of the hottest artists coming out of the state. If you want some gritty bars with a commercial sensibility, check out her project For Certain.

Caev

Making waves in his lane, Caev has been explosive all 2021! I love that he’s been consistently dropping visuals for each of his singles, and I can’t wait for more! The approach he takes to crafting his music comes across as fun and high energy.

Packy Marciano

I’ve known about Packy Marciano for a while now, and with time he only gets better. Catalina Wine Mixer easily has some of my favorite cuts from Packy. “Albuquerque” is a standout out for me on the project! If you like melodic hip-hop music, this is your guy.

Millyz

Millyz is a staple of the Massachusetts Hip-Hop scene. Being seen courtside with Jadakiss and dropping his collab project with Dave East, Millyz is putting the state on his back. If you want witty and hard-hitting hip-hop, he makes some of the best out. My favorite records by Millyz are “Strawberry Goya”, “Pablo Blanco”, and “Glum”.

Daniel Price

Daniel Prince is the future of R&B (drops mic)! You’ve seen this name hit the site’s pages, and you will see it plenty more times. I whole-heartily believe that he will be one of the biggest things in contemporary R&B. If you like poetic and smooth music give this guy a listen!

Clark D

Bringing community to a sometimes fractured Massachusetts music scene, Clark D seems to be the glue. A multi-instrumentalist, producer, and vocalist, Clark can do it all. He’s easily one of the most determined and talented guys in the state. Some of my favorite tracks from him are “Hard”, “Don’t Stress It”, and “Link Me Up”!

SeeFour

I’ve been able to share the stage with SeeFour at a few shows, and let me tell you, he tears the house down each time. With machine-gun flows and his shrill vocal delivery, he’s a one-of-a-kind talent! Make sure you check him out below!

Maeko

I’ve only recently been put on to Maeko, and he slowly became a crucial part of my rotation. With his indie/hip-hop/R&B combination, it’s right up my alley. I’m still stuck bumping “Woozy,” but I’m also excited to see what is next for him.

Marquis Filthy

Marquis Filthy is gearing up for something big, and I don’t think any of us are ready for it. He’s been grinding for the past year, and I can tell he’s prepared to put out something that shifts the scene. I’ve been a fan of Marquis since he remixed Isaiah Rashad’s “Shot You Down” in 2014-15. So be ready for something crazy to come soon!

Neemz

She’s someone I’ve been waiting to write about! Neemz is a multifaceted creative, making some of the catchiest records to come out of the state! “Plan A” and “Runnin’ Thru the City” are slaps! The nocturnal production melodic flows make for the perfect late-night vibe; check it out below!
