Mavi has been a superior talent in the current hip-hop landscape. “Thousand Miles” is easily one of my favorite records from him in his whole discography. The twinkling bell-laced production makes for a scenic backdrop for his poetic bars. Lacing the instrumental with witty wordplay and infectious rhyme schemes.
LONEWOLF takes up the visual component, and it’s masterful. We get shots of Mavi in a snowy park (central park, if I’m not mistaken) and then some B-roll of the city. However, the colorful transitions WOLF adds to the music video are one of a kind. These two guys’ styles complement each other in every way, and I hope they have more in the works!
