New York has gotten a bad rep as of late in Hip-Hop. Once known as the Mecca of the genre, NYC has lost a bit of it’s footing as top dog in the mainstream to cities like Atlanta. Despite this, it’s affinity for underground music is still high and Spring Valley native KM Kash takes advantage of that with the release of his impressive new project, Pressure.
Clocking it at 9-tracks, Pressure is at the absolute perfect length for what Kash was trying to convey. Never feeling stagnant or congested, Kash skates over the incredibly polished production as he creates a new vibe with standout cuts like, “I Cannot Relate,” “Silence” and his potent intro, “Cold Hearted II.” With a solid project behind him to finish off an eventful 2018, expect for KM Kash to make a splash in 2019.
