Palm Beach County is not usually the topic of conversation when it comes to South Florida hip-hop, but Palm Beach plays a pivotal role when it comes to the landscape of the Florida rap community, whether or not someone wants to have that conversation is not my answer to give at this point. Anyways, this is why I feel like $NOT and Wifisfuneral‘s “Beretta” record is so important to culture of South Florida. It ties in two generations of music fans together, plus it’s just a good fucking song.
With a West Coast feel to it, $NOT and Wifi both approach this record with an effortless ease to it, which allows the song to just flow through like a “real” West Coast record is supposed to make you feel. Shit, even Lil Tecca is fucking vibing to the record.
Recently, $NOT tweeted out that he and Wifi could possibly put out a collaborative project together, which I’m all the fucking way here for.
… should we do this? https://t.co/6VVjsH4XpL

No telling when that project would actually come out, but we’ll keep you posted. Check out “Beretta” below. You’ll thank us later.
