The Carolinas continue to prove why they are an undeniable hotbed of talent, one that offers an immense number of independent artists striking the underground scene ablaze. Today, we’ve got yet another example in Pyrex Pryce‘s newest single, “I’m Him”. Featuring fellow Carolinian Kevin Powers, the tandem stands toe-to-toe over some heavy, bass-riddled production from Repko. All sides of the ball are covered from infectious melodic runs to top-tier production, it all works so cohesively.
Things like this give us hope for more collaborations as scenes expand and shed light on a wealth of new talent. And both of these young artists have had astounding trajectories thus far in their careers. Don’t sleep and stream “I’m Him” below ASAP!
