Reston, VA group RDGLDGRN is not really a trio that can be categorized sonically. They’re all over the spectrum in terms of sound, and just can’t be boxed in. From the Pharrell and Dave Grohl-assisted “Doing the Most” to “I Love Lamp,” RDGLDGRN has proved they’re worthy of national, and multi-genre attention. The group, comprised of Red (guitar), Gold (bass, vocals) & Green (rapper/singer/guitarist), has a homegrown sound that makes their music very welcoming and enjoyable. What I love most about their music is the fact that they push the boundaries of rock, hip hop and other genres, all while creating something that has a taste of each in it.
Today they’re back with a brand new joint titled “Elevators,” which is another great track from the VA trifecta. It’s the title track to their upcoming EP, and acts as a nice introduction to the band if you’ve yet to hear em. Lots of feel-good vibes.
