This is the first I’ve encountered Reo Cragun, but thanks to Kyle at Chiefers, I have the chance to add some vivid descriptions about this cut. Now, the instrumentation is amazing by itself, with metallic synths and drums that come to life. Then you add Reo’s futuristic approach to vocals, and we are enthralled with this sound for a moment.
His gentle voice is smooth, but it’s imperfections are what the ear falls in love with. The chorus is moving and he’s speaking from a troubling emotional experience. The edits and pitch-correction are so subtle which only means that this kid can really sing. A lot of people can’t move without auto-tuned, but Reo Cragun is a refreshing breed of artist.
