Sir E.U – Madagascar

Sir E.U has been droppin’ dope shit for awhile now, and today we’re finally given the culmination of all of his recent releases in Madagascar, which he largely produced himself under the name Hippodramidan.

To put it simply, you can’t put E.U in a box, much less describe his sound. Madagascar eccentric and gritty with no real form or pattern—except for intricate layers of metaphors and rhymes. To me, E.U’s unique style is the perfect packaging for his lyrical content; it’s completely different than anyone else I hear coming up and fits him like a glove.

It’s that same uniqueness that I believe will carry him to the national spotlight. Madagascar is the latest stop on his path to prominence, but it’s not even like he’s working just to get that attention, he’s making music for himself and his homies; this is shit that he enjoys making.

It’s clear that sonically, he doesn’t give a fuck what anyone else is looking to hear. Even so, most of his fans would tell you that they’re getting exactly what they want—raw, uninhibited raps from one of the most impressive creative minds coming out of the DMV area right now.

Check out the project below & enjoy. A few of my favorites are “Nikeboy,” “4swagppl,” & “Madagascar.”
