SoFaygo has been one of the hottest artists in the game. Just inking a deal with Travis Scotts’ Cactus Jack record label, he is on the path to stardom. The 2019 single “Knock Knock” gets a new life with the Cole Bennet-directed video. The record has already amassed 33 million plays on Spotify, and I suspect after this video, it will continue to grow. SoFaygo has a knack for catchy flows and is just a musician you can’t keep your eyes off.
In the visuals, we catch the rapper in a pinstripe black and white suit in backdrops that remind me of the mask (Yes, I know that the visuals are in reference to the cult classic movie Beetle Juice). The amount of precision Cole brings to the shot selection; makes for an impactful viewing experience. Also, there is a fun cameo of the beloved Lil Tecca throughout its entirety. The music video accentuates SoFaygo’s star power, and this is only the start of his takeover of mainstream hip-hop.
