At this point of his career, Kendrick Lamar should be used to compliments and co-signs from veteran artists. While music icons such as Jay-Z, Nas, and Andre 3000, among others, have praised the West Coast rapper we can add Motown legend, Stevie Wonder, to that list as well.
In a recent interview with GQ Magazie, Wonder was apparently raving about the Compton-bred emcee.
“Kendrick Lamar is extremely talented. But not only is he just talented, he has a real concern for the people.”
In that same interview where the quote was extracted from, Mr. Wonder also revealed how he performed his own rendition of Kendrick’s hit single, “i.” Wow.
