Strick Sets the Tone with New Single “Wassup”

One of my favorite new tracks of the year, “Wassup” from LA-based Strick showcases his ability to blend contagious and potent flows with captivating vocals, all while complimenting the smooth, bass-driven beat. The single is perfectly layered with supplemental vocals reminiscent of tracks from artists like 21 Savage and Future. Strick has cemented himself as an artist to know in 2023 with the release of “Wassup,” leaving listeners with no doubt of his talent and prowess.

Mainstream success is nothing new to the North Carolina native, having been featured on “WokStar” from Young Thug and Gunna’s Billboard #1 album Slime Language 2, as well as performing sets at Wireless Fest and on the bill for next months LA Rolling Loud. In addition to his vocal talents, Strick has proven his talents with the pen, contributing to the writing of “Keep it Burning,” by Future and Kanye West that was featured on the Billboard #1 project, I Never Liked You. Make sure to check out “Wassup” below.
