Music videos don’t always have to be big budget. They don’t always have to have a bunch of girls and they don’t always need the foreign whips, they just need to convey the message set in the song. Checking in with his brand new video for his album cut, “Run It Up,” Compton native RedAngel does just that.
Seemingly shot in the studio while the song was being recorded, the video for, “Run It Up” shares the exact same qualities as the single. Recruiting Grammy nominated songwriter, K. Briscoe and frequent collaborator, KidRed, the record is a feel good, highly infectious track that sees a more softer side of RedAngel vocally. While he ditches the usual aggressive pitch for a more digestible tone over the bouncy production, KidRed and Briscoe balance it out perfectly, with Briscoe providing a top-notch hook.
