Yes, this is legit—no click-grabbers here. The Don Jay Z has reportedly spent a whopping $384 million (really a tear drop in a bucket when you consider he’s still spending money from ’88) in order to acquire Tupac’s ENTIRE musical catalogue.
The plan is to release a brand-new album in 2016 entitled And Now I Rise, with a whole set of star-studded features that had only been thought of in hip-hoppers dreams. The album’s guests will include Snoop Dogg, Drake, Nas, The-Dream, DMX, Beyoncè and Jay Z, which portends a pretty crazy end product.
You have to think that this will likely be one of the highest selling albums of the past decade (or more), and one of the most highly-anticipated posthumous albums to ever be released.
And now we wait.
