After threatening to put the hurt on Tekashi, Vic Mensa’s showing off with two fresh new drops. The first being a freestyle over Lil Uzi’s “Neon Guts” that features Pharrell Williams. One of my personal favorite tracks off of Luv Is Rage 2, I was hype to hear Vic’s rendition and he did not disappoint. The man has bars. The second of the two drops is Vic’s latest single titled “Metaphysical” and it is a shift from the traditional sound we’re used to getting from the Chicago MC. With a dancehall-like sound and crooning autotune, Vic is definitely mixing it up on this one. Although it’s not what we would expect, he’s still hitting a stride and making some seriously quality music.
