St. Louis is an area known for its historical impact on music. With artists such as Nelly, Murphy Lee, Chingy and more leading the way in the early 2000’s, St. Louis went from a sports town to a household name in music in just a matter of a few years.
With that being said, the early beginnings allowed young, talented artists like ANWAR to make their own impact within the music community. Unlike most of the artists out now, ANWAR has an uncanny ability to make music that is left of the norm but still catchy enough for the average listener, and his latest record “Still” is a perfect example of that. Mixing in high pitch tones and smooth cadences, ANWAR‘s “Still” video is a great introduction for the masses as he continues to build a loyal fan base.
