One of my favorite hidden gems has to be Los Angeles’ own YS. He’s got a sound that is reminiscent of the typical “California” sound but with a modern twist to it. Hailing from Compton, California, YS has started to create some buzz on the Left Coast with a series of rising singles in “Bompton” and “Welcome To Stanford,” catapulting his career from an “up and coming artist” to a solidified LA-based rapper.
Before his anticipated Street Dreams project officially drops, YS decides to set the Fall on fire with an official remix to his smash hit, “Bompton,” now featuring Cali superstars 1TakeJay and Ohgeesy.
