“T-Top Roof” is a track that goes crazy. Yung Heir finds himself within a tasteful blend of the SoundCloud rap we come to know and love, but still adds some modern flair. On this record, we see Heir‘s braggadocios slick-talk mentioning the cars he’s driving, the women he’s seeing and the linen he dons.
The accompanying music video, directed by Zenen Saneshige, showcases Heir driving a foreign vehicle through the city. Zenen curated sped-up shots to heighten the song’s intensity, making it feel very Need For Speed-esq. I find this a perfect pairing and encapsulates the emotions I feel while listening to the record.
