Seeyousoon returns with a reinvented style on “Matte Black”, and I can’t get enough of it. The track starts with a distorted hook from Maddie that plays off the bass-heavy instrumental. This thing is catchy as hell and has been stuck in my head since I heard it. Followed by the hook is a futuristic verse from Joshua; the vocal processing is out of this world!
Mitch$$$ gives a superb delivery that brings a very braggadocious feel to the record. This is honestly a highlight for me because it just makes me feel so cool listening to it. Closing the track is a verse from Drex, and it feels like the only proper way to finish the record. I’m looking forward to getting a visual for this track but in the meantime, check it out below!
