Caal Vo is a VA representative, but recently he took his talents to reside in Atlanta. It’s seeming like this was a great move for the rising artist because he’s been making some stellar noise since then. His newest project Ferris Wheel, is 18-tracks of unrelenting bliss. His approach to music is very modernized, to say the least, but he’s playing this game the right way.
With features from BoofPaxkMooky, Polo Perks and Bobainee, this family affair is a precursor for what you’re going to hear in music for the next few years. “Let It Sing” is a lucid heater, along with “Sake” and “Walked In” showing the different sides of Caal. Apart from the melodic prowess, Vo does this wave better than the majority of the pack. And any production from EvilGiane is something that we fiend for at this point. It’s almost a fusion between cloud rap, drill, and countless other subgenres.
Overall this project will not disappoint you if you’re on the hunt for great music. Don’t be surprised if you hear this name a bit more in the upcoming months, but until then peep the gas below.
