KayCyy is an artist who has been on my radar for a while now. I was first introduced to the East African native when he garnered the most legendary co-sign of all, one from Kanye West. Since then, KayCyy has been dropping hit after hit, and now he’s back with new music and new visuals.
The latest release from KayCyy comes in the form of a new single titled “Borrow”. The track is super high-energy, with some extremely catchy production and a mesmerizing hook. Throughout the track, he raps about others “borrowing” his image and belongings, implying that there are alot of people trying to bite his style.
The video that accompanies the track is outright amazing. The cinematography paired with KayCyy‘s high energy throughout the video makes it very entertaining. Using Paris as the shooting location was also a great move, as the video provides some great scenery. My personal favorite part was when our protagonist was jumping from rooftop to rooftop.
