Today we’re here to talk about Ben Reilly. The Brooklyn lyricist has been on fire lately, his newest release being a 10-track album titled Freelance: Charlie. The project clocks in at just about 28 minutes, and after a few listens I’m here to tell you why you should 100% check it out.
The project starts off strong with “No Strings: My Window”, a lyrical masterpiece which features some great bars from Reilly. This song transitions directly into my favorite track of the project “Agenda”. This track is an absolute banger, opening up with some heavy drums which lead into one of the catchiest hooks I’ve heard in a minute. This whole project is an amazing display of Ben Reilly‘s versatility, and each track finds a way to stand out on its own. Some other standouts for me were “Clipped” and “Sonar 2”. I could sit here writing this article all day and tell you all about how fire this project is but I’d rather just shut up and let you listen to it, so check out Freelance: Charlie down below and let us know how you’re feeling!
