This new Fritz Owens Debut project Blessed Mass is a breath of fresh air coming from the Atlanta scene. We can’t help but wonder what is brewing behind the scenes of their consistently ominous image but I’m glad this is an example of what came out of it.
With production from WorkingOnDying, great features from the Homixide Gang, and one from the late R5 Homixide, this debut feels very different from the ones we have seen in the group’s past. There is plenty of variety in the beats, ranging from Caribbean-style pop beats to Atlanta-style trap beats. I really think there is something here for everyone. This one is special.
