For some reason, it seems like 2019 has gone on a lot longer than last year did. I’m not complaining, it just seems like we’ve had ample time to get things done this year. For Indiana rapper, Richie Bux, that’s exactly what he’s done. Releasing two EP’s and a handful of engaging visuals — maybe that’s why — Bux has placed himself in a position to make a real splash in 2020. Topping off his prolific year, he stops by with his new video, “Murder Rate.”
Directed by Gio Visuals, the video takes place in downtown Las Vegas, where Bux, featured artist BamBinoMafioso and their respective crews link up and flash heavy amounts of artillery through brilliantly clear camera quality and infectious visual effects, such as the sniper scope. Even better, the energy that’s soundtracking the visual perfectly complements it, as Richie and BamBino both deliver engaging verses that sound nothing like the other, making for a rare moment in the trap music field, where many artists often share flows when collaborating.
