As we all know, Jay Z is a business man who’s always looking for the next venture to get his hands on. Now, he’s thinking to add a music streaming service to his name. Who does guy think he is? Jay-Z?
Aspiro, the Scandinavian company that owns the streaming service WiMP, which competes against top services such as Google Play and Spotify. Jay Z’s company, Project Panther Bidco Ltd, has officially placed a $56 million bid, in cash, to purchase Aspiro. Wow.
WiMP is growing in popularity across Europe and has grown a great reputation within the stock industry, drawing comparisons and statements like: “an innovative high-quality company with strong future growth potential.”
Although this deal has not been finalized, its really interesting to see where this goes…
