Roakii is an artist I’m just finding out about. His newest single, “Emotion”, found its way to me via my emails, and jeez, this is an excellent record. The up-tempo production gives the record a nice pace that will get you on your feet (produced by Daily Chiefers own 10fifty). He takes a similar approach to songwriting as many new-age melodic rappers, but the cadence is so much his own.
The lyrics reflect on heartbreak, love loss, and running up checks. I could see this fitting into Raps Cavier and blowing the fuck up. Check out the record below!
