When I first covered “Yeaaaa” by Rollin Thrax back in July of 2022, I knew it was a hit, but it was hidden in the very depths of Soundcloud, waiting to make its mark on the underground. Fast-forward to December 2022 and Rollin Thrax is one of the hottest names in the game right now. The 20 year old artist from Atlanta has been on fire recently, and his single “Yeaaaa” has taken the world by storm. His latest project is in collaboration with DotComNirvan, and it is the long-awaited visual to the record.
As always, DotComNirvan does what he does best. The video for “Yeaaaa” is a masterpiece. It plays out at a high-pace and keeps a psychedelic theme throughout. The VFX throughout the video are also absolutely amazing. It just goes to show that DotComNirvan is the present, and will continue to be the future of music videos in the hip-hop world. This was definitely a collaboration that I didn’t know I needed, but one I am extremely satisfied with, and I am interested to see what’s next for Rollin Thrax.
