SmooveAura has been making noise out of New York. He just recently went on tour with Young Thug and is clearly connected with the right people in the industry. Today he makes his Daily Chiefers debut with a brand new album, Life on Broadway.
SmooveAura‘s second album is an energetic collection of nine tracks, featuring Strick and Mod da God. In an era filled with phony rappers, the Bronx-native is noticeably authentic and outspoken. That definitely sticks out to me, along with his connection to Thug and YSL Records. Some of my favorite tracks include “Snakes featuring Strick, “Rockstar” and a slow-paced heater titled “Lies.” I’m relatively new to SmooveAura, but he’s left a great initial impression. Looking deeper on his SoundCloud, I found my favorite track: a banger produced by AR featuring Banko Braxx called “Blue Hunnits”. So far, it’s pretty clear to see that SmooveAura is moving strategically and effectively within the music scene. Check out the latest from SmooveAura below.
