Can the Pacific Northwest get some love? Travis Thompson has been one to watch for some time now, and the Washington state-based rapper has just released a new video to accompany his single titled “Odd Jobs.”
The 22-year-old Seattle native his it big with his 2019 smash “Need You,” but Thompson is much, much more than just a viral moment. “Odd Jobs” is culled from his 2021 album BLVD BOY, which attracted features as diverse as G-Eazy and capital “L” Legend Juicy J. “Odd Jobs,” one of the album’s many highlights, features rappers GLENN and Khris P, two artists that have also been making noise in Washington state.
The video shows the three rappers shaking up your prototypical suburban neighborhood and wilding with an RV. This track recalls the carefree attitude of Odd Future‘s early work, and we’re definitely here for it.
Don’t sleep, Travis Thompson is one of the best out for sure! Watch the video for “Odd Jobs” on YouTube down below and don’t forget to check out BLVD BOY, its accompanying album.
