Riff Raff has become one of the most well-known (and mocked) emcees of this era, but his off-the-wall nature and chart-topping levels of eccentricity are what makes him such an enjoyable character. The other day I was drunkenly stumbling through my Twitter timeline (yes, day—don’t judge me) and someone mentioned how Riff Raff had gone from G’s to Gents (a short-lived MTV reality show) to dating Katy Perry.

Now, I don’t know about you, but I haven’t watched any of the bullshit MTV shows in years (excluding Jersey Shore, Sammi was super bae), so naturally, the fact that Riff Raff had been on one of their reality shows escaped me. Even so, I looked it up and he was in fact on the show back in 2009 before he was eliminated after just the second week. BUT, the true nugget here is this funny ass compilation I found of him and his antics on the show—he even raps for his housemates at one point. All I can say about it is press play.

We should all aim to be more like the NEON iCON.
